Thanks to the Fantastic Support from Frank Roach, American Legion #34 and VFW Posts # 2889 and #3746, on Saturday, April 18th, Harold's wish was granted!!!
Harold travelled to the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC where he attended a George Jone concert. To his surprise he was called back stage, along with his friends, and came face-to-face with none other than the "Possum" George Jones!!! Harold was able to shake hands with the country musin icon and share a few private minutes with his idol before taking premier seating to enjoy the country legend's live show. Of the meeting Harold says, "I just can't thank ya'll enough. I just can't believe it, I am sooo happy." He continued, "What you people at Warrior's Wish do is just great. I can't thank you enough. Thank you."
The Posts mentioned had gotten together to host a fundraising dance to help raise funds for Harold's Wish. It is the Veterans helping Veterans spirit, exemplified by those Posts, that insures that Warrior's Wish can continue to fulfill the mission of granting wishes for our Nation's Heroes.
